Brewer painting the Grand Canyon
Featured Artist:: Stacy Hawley
The benefit art exhibit is an opportunity to make a connection between the needs of foster children and the art community.  By raising awareness and investing in both these sectors, we enhance the quality of living for the community as a whole and help children thrive in a safe, permanent home.

Stacy Hawley is an emerging artist, and graduate from Carson-Newman College in 2007 where she received a bachelor of arts with a double major in Religion and Art: Painting with a minor in Photography.

Hawley's works hope to capture the unseen, the overlooked and the undervalued. She explains, "I often find myself captivated by the beauty of God's creation all around me; the change in the color of tree bark before it rains, the clouds in the sky, morning dew on a flower, it's the simple beauty that takes my breath away. It is this gift of beauty that I desire to give to people in my artwork. A simple joy that allows the heart to rest knowing that things are going to be okay, if only for a moment, life is beautiful."
